Sunday Ball Watch Menu - Week 13
From here until the end of the regular season I am going to rank the top 3 games on Sunday based on juicy storylines, playoff implications, how good both teams are, or all of the above. There's a lot of ball games on during the day but these are the 3 that can get big screen privileges if you aren't watching redzone or your favorite team.
Big Screen Games
3. Chiefs at Packers /Line: Kc-6
This has turned out to be a pretty good Sunday Night game. Green Bay was 2-6 and looking awful, but they have strung together 3 straight wins including a dominating win in Detroit on Thanksgiving last week. The 6 and 7 seeds in the NFC are up for grabs and the Packers are now right in the thick of it. Can Jordan Love keep it up against the champs? KC has looked so limited on offense this year with their receivers having hands made out of stone. Mahomes has that ability to flip the switch at any time so the big question is if his teammates can catch the ball. Kansas City sneakily needs to win this game and stop playing with their food because there are 3 other division leaders with the same amount of wins that can snag the 1 and 2 seeds.
The Pick: Chiefs 24-20
2. Broncos at Texans /Line: Hou -3.5
I am shocked this game is here. The Broncos were dead at 1-5 and the Texans were supposed to be a 3 or 4 win team this year. Low and behold this game may just determine the final playoff spot in the AFC. Sean Payton has Russell Wilson looking like his old self and the Broncos don't make me want to gauge my eyes out when I watch them nowadays. The fighting Demeco's are another fun watch. OROY frontrunner Cj Stroud is awesome and looked like a veteran. Have this game on your TV in the early slate, it should be a good one.
The Pick: Broncos 25-24
1. 49ers at Eagles /Line: Sf -3
Hands down the game of the weekend. The NFC title rematch from year a go, and brother these teams do not like each other. The Niners talked the whole offseason how they would have won if they had a quarterback be able to play in the game. The Eagles have called out the Niners for crying about it and said that it's not their fault they dominated. Each team has a fair gripe. From the Niners perspective, they didn't have a player who could physically throw a football. From the Eagles perspective, if you can't protect your QB against a great D-Line, that's what's going to happen. Now we get both teams fairly healthy (*knock on wood*) running it back. This is also massive for seeding purposes as the Eagles can pretty much lock up the 1 seed with a win. However a Niner win bunches SF, Philly and Dallas all within a game of each other. The Eagles are battle tested and have been finding ways to win while the Niners have been curb stomping teams for the past month. I am so pumped for this game, it will be a classic.
The Pick: 49ers 20-17
