Daily Disasterclass #4 - Oregon Ducks football
Another November, another Oregon choke job. Seriously, what is in the water in Eugene during this time of the year. It seems that every other year since I remember watching college football, Oregon is in the hunt in the last couple weeks of the season to make some noise in either the BCS championship or CFP and lose November games. 2011 vs Usc, 2012 vs Stanford, 2013 at Arizona during the Chip Kelly era. 2019 at Arizona State and at Utah in 2021 in the Mario Cristobal era. Now at home against Washington and at Oregon State to kick off the Dan Lanning era. This year was worse for Duck fans because the losses were at the hands of their biggest rivals. It doesn't matter the coach or the QB, this team will continue to tease their fans every single year. Next year they will still boast a top recruiting class as always and "the future is bright" but just get ready for a #5 ranked Oregon team next year at 8-1 losing in Tempe to their old OC as two touchdown favorites.
