Disaster Class - Patrick Mahomes

Image
Did not expect to ever see Pat Mahomes in a disaster class but here we are. The Chiefs offense has been in a rut most of this season and you finally saw the frustration of it from Pat this weekend in their 20-17 loss to the Bills. I'm not going to sit here and say that Mahomes is at fault for all this because they have no weapons at all right now. Kelce looks old and every wideout either has hands made of stone or shit for brains at random points in the game. The controversial play of this game was the offsides call on Toney with a minute to go when it looked like KC took the lead with a schoolyard touchdown. Toney was clearly lined up offsides but all of KC erupted because they believed that the refs can't make a call like that at that point of the game. No one was more outspoken than Mahomes who looked as if he was going to maul the refs. Then after the game while Josh Allen was shaking hands, Mahomes kept bitching about the call to Allen. I've really liked the way Maho...

Daily Disaster Class - Me (Honorable Mention - Golden State Warriors)

Image
After a 7 month hiatus I am finally back. Yes, I have still been watching sports. Probably more than I ever have. For not writing for such a long time I will give myself the daily disaster class. Now I have to catch up on everything I missed writing about. Hey Uconn basketball, Denver Nuggets, and Texas Rangers, good job! Okay now that that's covered time to dive into current events. The Warriors stink. They are 8-10 and fresh off a blown 24 point lead to the Sacramento Kings. It been a tough team to watch ever since the punch last season. I just don't get excited about Warriors games anymore. Steph Curry is the only thing enjoyable about the 2023 Warriors to this point. Draymond is his own worst enemy and Klay is just a shell of himself. I'm trying to remain patient that this Big 3 can figure it out and be great as they have so often over the years. The issue this time is that it didn't work out at all last year and the same thing is happening again this season. They w...

Daily Disasterclass- 2022-2023 Golden State Warriors are dead

Image
My squad and the defending champing Warriors have been eliminated at the hands of the Lakers. What a frustrating end to the year.  Last year was the perfect season for us Warriors fans; Klay came back from 1000 days of injury, the young guys showed promise, the Lebron and the Lakers sucked, and of course the 4th championship in this run with Steph getting his 1st Finals MVP, shutting up any "not clutch", "needs KD" talk, cementing his legacy. This year was supposed to be more of the same. Instead this year started off with the Draymond punch on Poole days before ring night and it felt like they couldn't string together good basketball for more than a week. They were a .500 team for nearly the whole season and it wasn't just because of injuries. Even when Steph, Klay, Dray, and Wiggins would play they would still lose games to mediocre teams. Poole took a huge step back. Wiseman project died. The road record was embarrassing. It felt like they did not care ab...

Daily Disasterclass #8 - The Big Ten

Image
There you have it, the Big Ten is out of the NCAA tournament on the first day of the sweet 16 after Kansas State beats Michigan State. Live by the corn, die by the corn. The reality is these guys are stuck playing archaic basketball and when they play a team that can either shoot 3's or speed up the game, they lose. The Big Ten doesn't stink, it's just that their best team is nowhere near the cream of the crop, aha, in the country. Essentially, they are all 8-10 seeds (Except for you Minnesota, you guys suck) who play each other and the ones that win the most gets a top 3 seed in the NCAA tourney every damn year and i'm sick of it. Shame on you Big Ten, and shame on you Purdue. Things will never change until you turn off that fucking Hoosiers movie. There's bigger fish to fry than Jimmy Chitwood.

Daily Disasterclass #6 - Jon Heyman

Image
Feed MLB "insider" Jon Heyman to the wolves. Tuesday afternoon was the most chaotic time in the history of baseball twitter. This fuck said he heard from some people that they thought Aaron Judge was headed to the Giants and because he wanted to be the attention whore that broke the news first. He also had a typo on the first tweet and put "Arson Judge", which is a name that will live in infamy. The news was completely false and now Aaron Judge is back with Yankees 12 hours after Heyman tweeted this. Maybe make sure something is true before you drop a bomb like that, putting the whole country on edge. I only root for the failures of a certain few in sports and now Jon Heyman is part of that club. It feels good to see that nobody will believe anything he says ever again as his credibility is completely shot. His career is ruined and it's all his fault. Side note here is the Giants missing out on yet another big free agent; pathetic. However, Heyman has stolen the...

Daily Disasterclass #5 - Belgium

Image
So much to go over here with Belgium getting booted out of Qatar before the knockout stage. Let's start by talking about this "golden generation". It's over before we really felt they hit their true peak. The last dance did not go well to say the least. Belgium started off the tourney with a 1-0 win where they really got outplayed by Canada. Then they went on to lose to Morocco and today went scoreless in a game they needed to win vs Croatia. What a shit show. I feel bad for Lukaku because he had one of the biggest choke jobs I have ever seen in the world cup with 3 point blank misses. The locker room completely fell apart with players saying their teammates were too old to win and also the goalie banging his midfielders girlfriend. Not a recipe for success unless you are Thibaut Courtois. Now aside from the team, the country is in shambles with riots breaking out from Morocco fans celebrating Morocco's win. Poor Belgium fans. Their team eliminated from the world ...

Daily Disasterclass #4 - Oregon Ducks football

Image
Another November, another Oregon choke job. Seriously, what is in the water in Eugene during this time of the year. It seems that every other year since I remember watching college football, Oregon is in the hunt in the last couple weeks of the season to make some noise in either the BCS championship or CFP and lose November games. 2011 vs Usc, 2012 vs Stanford, 2013 at Arizona during the Chip Kelly era. 2019 at Arizona State and at Utah in 2021 in the Mario Cristobal era. Now at home against Washington and at Oregon State to kick off the Dan Lanning era. This year was worse for Duck fans because the losses were at the hands of their biggest rivals. It doesn't matter the coach or the QB, this team will continue to tease their fans every single year. Next year they will still boast a top recruiting class as always and "the future is bright" but just get ready for a #5 ranked Oregon team next year at 8-1 losing in Tempe to their old OC as two touchdown favorites.

Daily Disasterclass #3 - Germany

Image
The 2014 World Cup champions are in trouble already after their 2-1 loss to Japan. Most of us probably thought it was a fluke that they didn’t make it out of the group stage in 2018, but they just might not be that good anymore. Germany was up 1-0 before Japan had a quick strike to tie it up and shortly after another one to take a 2-1 lead. Will the Germans recover? *insert WWI + WWII jokes*. I declare Germany washed. They need Flick to step down and a new leader to rise. I don’t think something like that has ever failed their country. A Germany loss vs Spain knocks them out of the group in 2 straight world cups. A tie or win is a tall task considering Spain won 7-0 yesterday.

Daily Disasterclass #2

Image
Congrats to the Brooklyn Nets on getting this prestigious honor. The Nets went in to Philly last night with KD, Kyrie, Simmons, and their whole team playing and yet they still got dominated by a Sixer team without Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey to fall to 8-10. Wild stat I found is that the last 2 years the Nets are 35-26 without Kyrie and 17-22 with him. The Nets might have the most toxic work environment in the country. We'll probably get another Nets story in the news this week with Durant saying his teammates suck and Kyrie quitting basketball to co-ceo with Elon Musk at Twitter. In Ben Simmons return to Philly, he actually played pretty well with 11 points 11 assists and 7 rebounds. Funniest thing from this game was when Simmons was shooting a free throw, the TNT camera zoomed in on a kid calling Ben a f*got. Philly fans are ruthless and could not give a shit what you think about them. Ben got out of there alive and that was probably his only wish. Shame on you N...

Daily Disasterclass #1

Image
After every day, I will expose someone or an organization as a whole for being an abomination and making boneheaded moves. Our first disasterclass goes to the Cal Men's basketball team for losing at home last night to Texas State. What an absolute disgrace this team is to basketball. A once proud program has started off the season 0-5 including losses to UC Davis, UC San Diego, Southern, and Texas State. They are a Pac 12 school in the heart of the SF Bay Area and they can't get more than 13 people at their games while getting dominated by programs that have arenas with less seating capacity than a dinner table. This might be the most down bad power conference team I have ever seen in my life. Mark Fox should be a PE teacher and I hereby am taking away his coaching privileges.
