So much to go over here with Belgium getting booted out of Qatar before the knockout stage. Let's start by talking about this "golden generation". It's over before we really felt they hit their true peak. The last dance did not go well to say the least. Belgium started off the tourney with a 1-0 win where they really got outplayed by Canada. Then they went on to lose to Morocco and today went scoreless in a game they needed to win vs Croatia. What a shit show. I feel bad for Lukaku because he had one of the biggest choke jobs I have ever seen in the world cup with 3 point blank misses. The locker room completely fell apart with players saying their teammates were too old to win and also the goalie banging his midfielders girlfriend. Not a recipe for success unless you are Thibaut Courtois. Now aside from the team, the country is in shambles with riots breaking out from Morocco fans celebrating Morocco's win. Poor Belgium fans. Their team eliminated from the world cup and the fans of the team that beat them are now in Belgium just exploding their cars and turning everything to rubble. After the Super Bowl did Rams fans just start torching and blowing up the city of Cincinnati? Talk about kicking a man while he's down. Morocco fans are the Philadelphia fans of Africa confirmed. Bold prediction here; we won't see Belgium in the world cup until 2034. This is the type of performance that can set back a program for a generation.
