Disaster Class - Patrick Mahomes

 

Did not expect to ever see Pat Mahomes in a disaster class but here we are. The Chiefs offense has been in a rut most of this season and you finally saw the frustration of it from Pat this weekend in their 20-17 loss to the Bills. I'm not going to sit here and say that Mahomes is at fault for all this because they have no weapons at all right now. Kelce looks old and every wideout either has hands made of stone or shit for brains at random points in the game. The controversial play of this game was the offsides call on Toney with a minute to go when it looked like KC took the lead with a schoolyard touchdown. Toney was clearly lined up offsides but all of KC erupted because they believed that the refs can't make a call like that at that point of the game. No one was more outspoken than Mahomes who looked as if he was going to maul the refs. Then after the game while Josh Allen was shaking hands, Mahomes kept bitching about the call to Allen. I've really liked the way Mahomes has carried himself and how he's a magician on the field so I was very disappointed in him for this. What is also ironic about the Chiefs feeling that the refs have it out for them is that the refs in last years AFC title game and then Super Bowl made critical calls in Kansas City's favor to put them in field goal range with no time left on the clock. Two games in a row, in the playoffs, to aid a super bowl for you. They have no right to complain especially since it was indeed offsides. If KC was humming all year and this was only loss number 1 or 2 I don't think Mahomes would have reacted the same way. This feels like there is something truly wrong with them and they are running out of time. I will never count out this team with this quarterback from winning the super bowl but they have real issues they need to fix fast or they will be bounced in mid January.
